Plantastic! is an interactive children's science exhibit with lots of learning opportunities. To be honest, its not quite as larger-than-life awesome as the Robot Zoo but still a great chance to introduce kids to ideas and information about plant life, photosynthesis, climate change, the food chain and other environmental information.
I think this exhibit is better suited to older children (preschool and KG probably won't pay attention long enough to understand how the exhibits work.). My younger daughter spent most of her time in the sandbox and my older girl (who is five) mostly played with the interactive 'plant a flower'.
We also visited the aquarium - love those penguins and the Python was actually awake! - and attended the space ship's light show - a 10 minute talk on stars. It's in Arabic and completely darkened except for the starlit sky so not for babies or those who don't understand Arabic.
Plantastic! will be showing until 15 June 2014 so there is plenty of time to check it out.
