Crochet workshop today

Wanna learn how to crochet this beautiful scarf? Khayt Group will hold a workshop tonight from 5-7pm at Sadu House to teach this pattern in English.

You should already know how to single crochet, double crochet, slip stitch and back loop slip stitch. (Hotlinks will take you to YouTube videos to teach you all of these stitches. They are all relatively easy and short videos).

The workshop is open to the public and costs KD 2. Please bring yarn, a hook and a pencil. Call or Whats App 9996-0005 for more information.

Hi, do you know if they offer beginners workshops/classes for crocheting ?

Right now they do not offer classes exclusively for beginners but the ladies are super helpful. If you know basic stitches - slip knot, single crochet, double crochet, etc - and want to practice they can probably guide you along any pattern.

I think they will give a beginner's class coming up soon and will post here once I get the details.

You can also watch the YouTube videos to learn basic stitches and sign up for our newsletter. The Dec 1 issue has an article on crochet resources in Kuwait. Hope this helps!

I found out today that Khayt Group will offer basics of crochet classes from 7-23 December (5-7pm). I will post about it soon but wanted to share the information. You can call or Whatsapp 9996-0005 to get more details and sign up.

Please tell me... I would like to attend crochet classes. I couldn't attend the class above as I didn't have yarn. Will there be the same class or similar scarf classes sometime. Looking forward to your reply.

Hi Abigail,

They also have regular workshops on Mondays but the time and projects varies. You can find yarn at many places in Kuwait including Barakat. (http://www.kuwaitmomsguide.com/1/category/barakat/1.html). Thank you so much for replying :) In preparation of your email I found wool today. I also did see your blog about the shop in Barakat. I cant wait to go and see it... I will book in the class for Mondays. Thank you agsin ;)
