It is still a bit early to search out activities to keep the kids cool but one great way to enjoy the summer in Kuwait is to take the kids ice skating. There are two rinks at the ice skating complex in Mirqab (just next to the Discovery Mall and across from Buj Jassem). You can rent aluminum skating frames to help the younger kids keep their balance and the smaller rink is great for beginners who want to learn.
Skate sessions last 1.5 hours, Saturday through Thursday:
8:30am to 10am
10:30am to 12pm
12:30pm to 2pm
2:30pm to 4pm
4:30pm to 6pm
6:30pm to 8pm
8:30pm to 10pm
Entrance is KD 1.5 (this includes skate rental)
