Saveco is a new hypermarket located on the Fourth Ring Road just next to Lulu and the nurseries. It's huge, with all the stuff you normally find at grocery stores plus a play area for kids (KD 1 entrance per child), a home/housewares department and a cafe.
My overall impression is ok. The location is too far away from my home for convenience and most of the stuff they have you can find at other hypermarkets in Kuwait. They have a lot of gluten-free/organic products so if you are into that you might find products there you cannot find elsewhere. The place is huge and wasn't crowded when I visited.
There is also a cooking school where you can sign up for cooking classes. They were filming when I visited so I didn't get a chance to speak with the chef but they offer classes for adults and kids. A recent 'mini cake decoration class' for ages 5-10 was held last week, cost KD 27. You can phone 9714-6363 for more information or to register for a class.
