DAI Reading Room Now Open
The Reading Room lending library at Dar Al Athar Al Islamiyya is now open for children ages 2-12. With more than 800 titles in both Arabic and English, the library encourages to borrow books and will be offering a variety of programs including a summer reading club. The library includes dozens of gorgeous picture books with beautiful illustrations as well as all of the Caldecott Medal winners in print and there are plans to grow with more Arabic and English titles to be added.
Membership details:
Friends of DAI - KD 10 per family
Non-Friends of DAI - KD 15 per family
Children can check out up to 3 books for a period of 10 days. A refundable deposit of KD 10 per book is required. Books kept longer than 10 days are subject to a fine of 250 fils per day.

Saturdays 3-5pm
Mondays 3-6pm
Wednesdays 3-7pm
