We found a range of quality wooden toys in the children's furniture section of Safat Home in Al Rai. They are perfect for toddlers or preschoolers and included eggexpressions, weaving peacocks, wooden animals, wooden block letters and figures, child-sized pianos, doll houses, vehicles, clocks, alphabets and more. I found the prices to be reasonable and comparable to what you'd find in other toy shops and the quality exceptionally good. My girls have way too many toys and so I've been growing more and more reluctant to buy them new toys but we got eggexpressions, the weaving peacock, number blocks and a toy alligator (the gator is for me!) and I will rotate them into their toy selection to get more exposure. Also can't wait for the girls to try the weaving peacock as I'm trying to encourage their interest in textiles, crochet and the like.

How much was the peacock? It looks fantastic.would you say (good quality) toys are more expensive to buy in Kuwait than US\europe? My kids have some lovely wooden toys - deciding whether to pack them when we leave or just leave them with Granny for now get a few things there. 2/16/2014 00:28:38
